ExecuJet Pets | Airports International | The Airport Industry online ...

ExecuJet says all applications to bring a pet into the UK under the PETS regulations must be emailed to its pet handling team at least 24 hours before flight departure. (ExecuJet)

ExecuJet Europe has launched a complimentary pet handling service at London Cambridge Airport, allowing domestic cats and dogs to travel internationally without quarantine or overseas vet inspection.

The airline and airport have been approved by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for the UK?s Pet Travel Scheme (PETS).? This is more in line with EU regulations that cats and dogs coming from the EU and certain non-EU countries will no longer require a post-vaccination blood test, and the pre-entry waiting period will be reduced from six months to 21 days.

John Brutnell, General Manager of ExecuJet UK, commented:? ?We believe ExecuJet and London Cambridge Airport are the first in the UK to offer PETS as a free service to passengers.?? He also said that a large-cabin jet was confirmed to be based at Cambridge so that its owner can transport his pets with ease.
