Cortney Greene pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and DWAI. Sheriff deputies say Greene was driving a golf cart on Byron-Holley Road when it was hit from behind by another vehicle. She and her boyfriend, Zachary Rusin, were thrown from the cart. Rusin died from his injuries.
Greene will be sentenced on September 6th. She faces anywhere from five years probation to between one and a third and four years in state prison.
